Rich Ballot is the General Counsel for BGRS.
Rich leads the BGRS legal team, which supports the company’s operations in North America, Asia and Europe, including sales and service, global supply chain, litigation and claims, title and mortgage joint ventures, transactional guidance, compliance programs, corporate governance matters, intellectual property, and the US and Canadian government accounts.
Rich has worked in the legal department with BGRS and its predecessors for the past 12 years. Prior to joining BGRS, Rich was in-house counsel at Cendant Corporation, counsel at Day Pitney LLP, an associate at the former NYC law firm of Mudge Rose, and a law clerk in the New Jersey Superior Court. His practice focused on commercial litigation and franchise law. He earned his BA degree from Rutgers University, and graduated cum laude from Seton Hall University School of Law, where he was Managing Editor of the Seton Hall Law Review.
